Portraity things, part 2!

Hello again!

Sorry for the delays in posting; just been super-busy lately... and I hate to waste a post just to provide a smidgeon of content.  Go big or not at all!  So anyhow, here's another batch of sketch portraits for your viewing pleasure!

Lilith, DevilSaint, fallen angel
Not bad looking for nearly a million years old.

Above is Lilith; fallen angel, Queen of Hell, and oh, Adrian's mom.  Along with this portrait I've also given her a complete redesign, which I'll reveal probably sometime this upcoming weekend!  (You can see her previous design here, and some early sketches here and here)

Next, we have Anubis, in "human disguise."  He still maintains a few dog-like traits in this form, as well as the ear widgets and wooden goatee from his true form.  Speaking of which, I redesigned him too... which you can see here!  (there may be an inking tutorial in the future, as well!)

Anubis, DevilSaint, Egyptian God of death
Somehow scarier as a humanoid than as a Godlike beastman.

And now for the human characters!  For Heather, it was really hard to get her skintone right while using the sketchy coloring technique, and not making her look older than she's supposed to.  There's nothing necessarily wrong with the drawing, it's just that the technique works better for some characters than others I guess.

Heather Dawes, Enyo, DevilSaint
The intimidating stare isn't her default expression, just one she uses often.

And last, but not least, and to finish up the main cast of the Warlord-type Deity users, here's Illya! This is a character who's been redesigned perhaps more than any others in DevilSaint, but this is also because she goes through the most change over the course of the story... being that she goes from being a kid in the first arc to early 20s and one of the main protagonists of the 4th arc.

Illya Stevens / Stravinskaya, Echo, piercings, freckles, alt chick, purple hair, DevilSaint
All the piercings and tattoos, while fun to draw, are hard to remember the placement of.

There will be more to come!  Until next time, all!
