Sorry for the slow updates; just been pretty busy in real-life stuff the past few days. Anyways, here are some updates on stuff I've been working on!
About a month ago I posted some sketchwork I was putting together for a poster of Justin Mitchell with the Deimos Deity; had Justin sketched out then, but now working on Deimos. Still have to finish drawing his right arm (on a separate sheet of paper, since it'll go so far off the page here), right leg, and tail. Getting there, slowly but surely.
Don't worry, that thing below his belly is part of his knee.
Practice drawing of a lotus for a tattoo idea a friend had. The final tattoo design will be very different of course, but it is helpful to get down the basics of how the actual flower is structured.
Okay, so maybe not exactly how the plant is structured, but whatever.
New design for Moses Briggins from his days as an aerial gunner (about 7 years before the events of DevilSaint).
Younger, fitter, and rather less beardy.
Slightly older sketch of Moses in his Hephaestus Avatar form. It'd been a REALLY LONG TIME since I last drew this guy.
Probably a bad idea for a dude this hairy to have fire-based powers, but whatever.
Working design for the Hephaestus Deity; inspirations for its design came from anvils, boiler stoves, engine pistons/exhaust, and of course the "gimped-ness" of the Hephaestus from classical mythology.
Freakish, yet... oddly adorable.
And lastly, some really rough (and tiny) sketches for possible upcoming illustrations. On top is something I might do for the Amanda with Nemesis poster-sized illustration for after I get the Phobos and Deimos ones finished. On bottom is a really quick doodle for one of Moe and Jeremy (Ares) from back when the two characters were in the military alongside each other (for which I did the Moe redesign seen above).
For every sketch you get to see, there are at least a couple dozen like these.
